Week 2 – Quilting meandering or stippling lines

You can check out this article on craftsy, explain the difference between meandering and stippling.

Week 3 – Practising continuous curvy lines combined with meandering lines

The images below show practising of continuous curvy lines.  I started out by marking the lines with my curve ruler but once I got the hang of it I was able to estimate my curvy line without having to draw it out.  I have also added the meandering lines in the negative space between my curves so now I am starting to get a bit of motif!

Week 3 – Leafy meandering

Practising leafy meandering design –  I love this leaf meandering design.  I found that this method flowed much better, as the echoing helped me fill out the remainder of the space.
